Practical Magic: Re-Creating Our Lives with Art, Writing and Astrology

Join Lisa Sonora Beam and Emily Trinkaus for a day of inspiration and practical support for realizing your creative goals.

Emily will discuss current astrological themes and how we can work with the energies of the Fall Equinox for ease and success. Responding to guided prompts, we’ll use writing as a tool for exploring how these energies want to manifest in our own lives. Learn more about Emily’s work at VirgoMagic.com.

Lisa will lead us through the process of creating Mini Visual Journals, the “secret sauce” for savvy creators — whether you’re trying to figure out your creative calling; sketching out a new project or business plan; finally writing your book or making your film; or simply wanting to make some headway on any idea that’s got you stymied.

You can use your luscious stack of mini visual journals to write in and add imagery to during the class, and (depending on how fast you work) will have some extras to trade, share, gift (if you can part with them) and use for whatever creative endeavor you wish to explore.

All are welcome — no previous writing, art or astrology experience needed.

When: Saturday, Sept. 18

Time: 10:00-4:00 we’ll take an hour or so break for lunch

Where: Southeast Portland, OR

Location details and what supplies to bring will be emailed after registration. Please note, that due to the small class size, refunds are only given through July 30, if you need to cancel.
