Artistic Acts of Generosity: Why I *Heart* Twitter

I’ve been sharing tweets with a talented creative entrepreneur, Mr. Bill Weaver a.k.a. @BWPhoto.

Bill is a photographer and prolific supporter of other artists. In addition to showcasing visual artists, his blog has an insightful weekly feature on on a subject that inspires dread in most artists: marketing. But don’t be afraid. Bill has managed to broach the subject with appropriate parts how-to and humility on Marketing Monday.

Bill was kind enough to write a book review about The Creative Entrepreneur for his audience, AND post a review on Amazon.com.

But if that wasn’t enough of an artistic act of generosity, just added my roster of online classes and retreats to his recommended workshops area of his website. But wait…there’s more!

Not only did he post the info (I promise I did not pay or bribe him to do this!) he also made these lovely graphics for each workshop. So much more attractive, fun, and well…creative than regular ‘ol text links.

He was kind enough to then send me the .psd files, so I can keep on using them as we wish. To reciprocate, I gave him some free “tickets” to the online classes distribute as he wishes among his blog readers.

Thanks again, Bill! You are wonderful!
